TOS & CANCELLATION POLICY

By purchasing a pass to the Clio Cloud Conference you are agreeing to our Terms, Conditions, and Cancellation Policy (the “Policy”). You may cancel your individual, team, or legal vendor pass by notifying Themis Solutions Inc. (“Themis” or “We”) by emailing conference@clio.com by May 30, 2024. Cancellations prior to these dates will be refunded in full lessany eventbrite fees. 

You may transfer your registration to another person in your company or organization by September 5, 2024 by notifying conference@clio.com. Reselling Clio Cloud Conference registrations is prohibited.

Themis reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary to this Policy or the Clio Cloud Conference program. Themis will make commercially reasonable efforts to retain speakers and their presentation topics. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution of a presentation topic or speaker. Substitutions or changes after the May 30, 2024 individual, team, or legal vendor pass cancellation deadline will not be considered a valid reason to request refunds.

We, in our discretion, and without any liability or obligation to refund, reserve the right to refuse participation to or to remove access to the event for participants that we determine are in violation of our Code of Conduct.

We are selling passes to the Clio Cloud Conference on an individual and team basis. Legal vendors and conference sponsors are required to purchase a legal vendor pass. 

Team passes are subject to the purchase of 3 or more passes. If you request a team pass refund that drops below 3 passes total, you will no longer be eligible for the team pass discount and will only receive the difference of the full price individual pass.

By registering for the Clio Cloud Conference event, you agree to receive email notifications regarding this event in particular as well as communications associated with products and services purveyed by Themis. At any time, a recipient can remove themselves from receiving such communications by employing the “unsubscribe” functionality in any email received or by mailing:

We will use your personal information, such as email address and contact information, as necessary to run the conference, such as to register attendees, issue tickets, facilitate information sharing with partners with whom you have consented for us to share information, and provide you with relevant connections and content during the conference based on this information and your use of the virtual event platform. At no time will Themis sell your personal information.

THEMIS ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR THE ACTS OF ITS SUPPLIERS NOR FOR THE ACTS OF CLIO CLOUD CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS. THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF THEMIS FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN THE CLIO CLOUD CONFERENCE WILL BE LIMITED TO A REFUND OF THE APPLICABLE INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM PASS. PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE KNOWINGLY ASSUMED ANY RISKS FROM ATTENDING THE CLIO CLOUD CONFERENCE AND ITS ANCILLARY EVENTS. 

All intellectual property rights, the content, services, and all materials distributed at or in connection with Themis and the Clio Cloud Conference are owned by Themis,  Themis related companies/affiliates, and/or the participating sponsors or speakers. You agree not to reproduce, modify, distribute, license, perform, publish, create derivative works from or use for any reason. You acknowledge and agree that views expressed by speakers at or in connection with the Clio Cloud Conference are their own and Themis does not accept any responsibility or liability for any advice given or views expressed during or in connection with the event. Copying or distributing any part of the event websites in any medium without Themis’ prior written consent; and modifying, creating derivative works or copying or storing any significant portion of the website or event or any related technology (unless allowed by law) is prohibited.

The Clio Cloud Conference and related services may contain links to third parties and to contributions uploaded by participants, including videos, images, descriptions, links and other content. Themis is not responsible or liable to these third party sites, and you should review any terms and conditions when entering those sites or viewing their content.

When accessing the Clio Cloud Conference, all individuals and companies are prohibited from harvesting, gathering or sharing private information, services or accounts of its users without consent, nor use manual or automated software, devices or other means or processes to access, scrape or crawl the event platform or any content or information contained in it. It is prohibited to compromise the security of the Clio Cloud Conference services such as transmitting viruses, malware or destructive code, or computer viruses, macro viruses, Trojan horses, worms or anything other harmful activity.

It is strictly forbidden for any company, organisation, or person to attempt to host or organise any event in conjunction with, contiguous to or purporting to be related to the Clio Cloud Conference without Themis’ express prior permission.

Themis reserves the right to use photographs and recordings of any Clio Cloud Conference participants in promotional materials.

Sessions may be audio recorded without special permission. They may be placed online or transmitted to others without permission. Short audio and video clips may be used for blogging and press coverage of sessions.
